Wild and free, are the deer we see, I can only wish that were me,
To run freely with the sun in your face, no worry of the traffic pace,
Wild and free, I wish I could be, no cares, no worries, why can't that be me?
Oh, beautiful deer I envy you, running threw the woods, with the ski so blue,
Wild and free, its beauty I see,
For me life is complicated, to run free I would be elated,
Wild and free, that's the life for me.

across the dappled water
I hear the frost break
underfoot, like glass
Horned and hooved,
