The question that is on everyone's mind is this: Are Pit Bulls Mans Best Freind Or A Murderous Beast? Well, I can tell you from experience that they are surely man's best freind.

I have been an owner of pit pulls for over 7 years and not once have had a problem with them. They are kind and loving animals just like every other dog on this planet. They are really man's best friend. To be honest, I think the problem here is man, not the animal itself. Man is the reason that these animals sometimes act the way that they do. Man breeds them this way.

I have a pit bull right now that I got when she was a puppy. The owner before me was using her as a bait dog and a fighter. She is about 2 yrs old now, but when I got her she was about 6 months old and she had cuts and bruises all over her. When I went and picked her up from the guy's house she was covered in blood and she was very aggressive towards me. That day I took her to the vet and they told me that she had been used for fighting and bait. I immediately had them call the police and arrest the man that I got her from. The man told me that he would reimburse me the money that I paid for her, but I told him that I didnt want the money. All that I wanted was the dog and for her to get better and have a happier life.

That night when I was at the vets, they told me that they didnt want to release her back to me because she was aggressive and they thought that she might hurt someone. I told them that I could take care of her and not let anything like that happen. I signed some papers that said I was liable for anything that would happen after her release from the vets. I signed it.

I spent some time loving her, feeding her, and getting her used to other animals again and I had no problems with her, again.

My point here is that the owners are responsible for the actions of these dogs. The man that I bought her from is still currently in prison and he is supposed to be doing 15-20 years for dog fighting. She would never of been like that. It was her surroundings and what the owner put her through. He was violent towards her and she retailiated on other dogs because that was what she was taught to do.

The other pit bulls that I have been around have been no problem. They get along great with her and other animals and not once have they attacked anyone. It is all in the way that you train and take care of them. If you abuse them and hit them and fight with them, then of course you are going to have problems and of course they are going to attack and be murderous towads people and other animals.
