I wish that all strays could go to a nice, loving home with foster parents that will love them and care for them. I have been to shelters and they do not take care of the animals there. All they do is give them a thin blanket to sleep on and a little bit of food and water. Sometimes the animals dont even get a blanket and they have to sleep on the cold ground of the kennel. I have been to kennels where the dog food bowls don't even have any food or water in them and the animals are laying on the floor looking starved and dehydrated.

I feel sorry already for the animals that are already at the kennels. I am a foster owner myself and I know what it takes to care for these animals. Here is all that it takes: love, happiness, caring, loyalty, and heart. Thats all. Oh yea and a little bit of money to feed them and take them to the vets. But honestly, you pet is your best friend in the whole wide world even when the world is against you, your animal never turn his back on you. They are always by your side. They never leave you.

Kennel animals end up with parvo and other animal diseases that they dont need to have. All it would take to stop these poor animals from these problems would be people like me who take them out of these places and put them into homes until they can be adopted. Many of the animals that I have fostered, I ended up adopting because I didnt want them having to go back to the kennel or someone else just leaving them on the street to be picked up.

I just hope and pray that people realize that homes for animals is the better decision over the kennels because a lot of animals have lost their lives to these places and it is up to us to stop these things from happening to our best friends. Please will you all help save a dogs life. I have been through kennels and the dogs or cats have been sitting there crying and asking for help and all that people can do is walk right past and not even take a look at their poor little faces. There is nothing that hurts me more, than seeing an innocent creature like that not even having anyone to love it.

It is not the animals fault that they end up in kennels it is the people that dont care to care for them. Thats why they need loving people to take them in and take care of all their needs and wants before all the animals wind up here with no food, no shelter, no water, nothing to sleep on, and no playtime. The animals that are in these shelters have limited access to people and other animals and they have no room to run around or play. They get 3 hours a week of playtime and that is it. The rest of the time they are in their cages where no one pays any attention to them. That is half of the reason why animals are so afraid once they are adopted out.
