Friendships last for eternity. Finding a good friend can seem to be a laborious task but it is always worth the effort. Sometimes you may find a friend who becomes an eternal part of your life without you, even realizing it. She would be your best friend and aid and stand by you, through your toughest times. It may even be that both of you could actually read each other's hearts and you would not even hesitate to share your innermost secrets with her.

Intimacy often leads to love so much so that you may even feel carried away by the pangs of love, after years of close comradeship. So if you have been through the above symptoms, it is time that you take some steps towards adding that romantic touch to your relationship.

Following are a few tips that you can take into account-

1) Never, try to grab every opportunity that you get, to express your feelings towards her. Just because you are close to her does not necessarily mean that you could blurt out whatever is there on your mind. Approach her indirectly and give her time to feel the difference. Do not forget that your relationship has a base of strong friendship, so stop immediately if she asks you the reason. More importantly make her feel exceptional. Only then, proceed to the following tip.

2) Always be receptive to her responses and make sure that you give an extra attention to her feelings. The most important thing here is to remain patient. Give her that extra cute smile and keep looking out for creative ways to give her that extra-special romantic attention. Give her the time to adapt to the transition that your relationship is going through that is from the best of friends to more intimate lovers.

3) One of the most effective ways to express your feelings is to come up with a fictional romantic story without involving you or your name. Create some fictional characters and try to tell her about your love through that story. Evaluate her reaction and response to the story. You can determine her inclination towards you without having to damage the true essence of your friendship through this perfect way.

4) Honesty is always termed as the best policy. This rule even applies here. You can honestly tell her about your true feelings if at all you see any signs of a positive response from her side, on developing an intimate relationship with you. This is the best time to go ahead and make a proposal to her.

5) Love is always about giving so never expect any return from her. Do not compel her to accept the relationship if at all she denies or insists on just being good friends. Perhaps she is trying to evaluate you or just giving more precedence to your friendship.

6) Always be patient with her response. Give her a chance to think and decide from the heart. Let her heart speak and give out a smile with each word she utters. This is proof enough that her answer is going to be affirmative.

7) Do not jump to immediate conclusions. Let her occupy her own space and time to decide on an answer. It may be hard to wait but it is always advisable to let the time pass. Persistence always pays so let her take her own time to think over it.

These tips may not always be successful but there is no harm in trying them out. Above all, persistence and understanding matter the most in a successful relationship.
