In Love With You
Sometimes I hear music drifting
in and out of focus
a background noise that sets
the mood and tone for the moment
It's happiest when I'm with you
sitting and breathing the same air
together even if the room separates

I'm in love with you
stronger and deeper than I imagined
but better than I ever dreamed
And I feel the movement of pen on paper
drawing words for pictures I can't begin to
color and I'm in love with you
