This is going to be a tough one... Take a step, breathe, it is time to come out of the closet. It is a time to let them know who you really are. It is time to let them know who you have become. When you have reached the point where you can't hide yourself anymore, stop the lying, stop deceiving. It is time to sit your family down and let them know that you are still the same child with the same heart, the same pain. There is no easy way to break the news and yes, there are those that are more willing to accept you for all that you truly are. This is who you are! Its not a crisis or a phase that you are going through, not if you are really gay... its a part of you, a part of you that makes you feel whole. There may be a few broken hearts, maybe even a broken nose, but in the end a family will love you for all that you are, all that you have been, all that you will become. Don't let a bad reaction stop you from living the life that will make you happy. No matter how bad tempers flare or what is said a parent will love you unconditionally.
