Humanness
I am strong
Strong like the hurricane force winds
And weak as a thin layer of ice.
I am tough
Tough like reinforced steel
And fragile as china and crystal.
I am rough
Rough like the coarsest sandpaper
And soft as cotton sheets.
I am cold
Cold like the polar icecaps
And warm as the noonday sun.
I am jagged
Jagged like broken shards of glass
And rounded as the perfect circle.
I am sharp
Sharp like fine pointed needles
And smooth as a newborn baby's skin.
I am human.
I am human
So handle me with toughness
And handle me with care.
