I drove alone today on a silver highway,
in the fast lane, same old song on my mind.
New chapter to begin, new tale to tell,
I sing against the wind,
it's violent thrusts whipping against my skin.
I am who I am, you may not understand,
For you have lost your self along the way.
I discovered a girl afraid of herself, now
a women who found herself.
You didn't really know me, maybe you'll see
I am forever grateful you let me go,
Now I can be............ me..........
