How to organize a community garden

* Garden plot maintenance and clean up by individual gardeners

Arrange for speakers to share information with the garden participants. Genetically engineered seeds are a great topic to tie into the next topic of seed saving. Education is important and the more the participants learn, the more successful the garden will become.

A community garden meets many needs. It is a food source. It is a place to relax from an otherwise busy life. It is a place to meet and enjoy friendships. It is a place to learn and share knowledge. It is what community is all about.
