Think birds for a moment, then blue skies and lakes,
Think rivers and steams and all that God makes
Think caribou, elk and forests and trees,
Think lizards and lemurs and berries and bees.
See green and blue and red perfectly placed,
See yellow and violet with which we've been graced.
I revel in warmth and in sunlight I bathe,
Yet the cool Autumn eve is still a top fave.
I marvel at sunsets, at sunrise I grin,
I love seeing this beautiful world I am in.
Each day brings a photo, a sculpture a painting,
It's gone at day's end but tomorrow the same thing.
Don't know what to say, but I do know this much,
That nothing is sweeter than God's own gentle touch.

The rustling of leaves.
A light embrace,
A tender sensation,
Too delicate
She cowers in the corner

She's afraid to move
too afraid to run.
