Poetry: Broken heart

by Kathy Panicola

Created on: April 04, 2009   Last Updated: April 10, 2009

It has been six months, since last we've spoken, I want you to know how my heart is broken.

Life goes on, but its not the same, without you here life is just a shame.

I wasn't such a good daughter, now I see, but you never stopped loving me.

I know your better where you are, I just wish it wasn't so far.

I miss you more and more each day, I have a hard time getting through my day, but somehow I find a way.

For thirty years you were all I had, so, without you my life is sad.

"I love you the most" was just my way, to let you know, what through the years I did not say.

I'm sorry if I let you down, that wasn't my intention, loving you with all my heart was what I needed to mention.

Someday we will meet again, for now I will miss you, until I see you then.
