things. They are starting to talk more often and her mom is coming by more often to visit. Barbara realizes that so many years have been wasted because she thought her mom was always trying to run her life. Mom would be over later today and she would be able to tell her how sorry she was. The phone rings and a policeman tells Barbara that her mom had been killed in a car acident. Time to cry.

*Happiness

Sadie is 45 years old and has always wanted a baby. She and her husband have tried for so many years, that they thought it would never happen. Nine months have gone by and Sadie is in the delivery room with her husband holding her hand. Sadie has just delivered the most beautiful, perfect little boy. Time to cry.

*Love

Stephanie and John have been dating for quite a while. They are best friends as well as lovers, but John has never told her that he loves her. Stephanie is not really sure how she feels either, after all, they just get along so well and do everything together, it just seems natural. John has told her that he wants to try out a fancy new restaurant in town and would she be available on Saturday night to go with him. Of course she says, "yes." He picks her up, and he looks tremendously handsome. Stephanie is all dolled up and John tells her so. During dinner, John says, "I've been meaning to ask you something." Stephanie looks at John as he gets up from the table and walks over to her and bends down on one knee. In his hand he is holding the most beautiful diamond engagement ring you ever saw. John says, "Will you marry me?" "I love you." At that moment, Stephanie knew in her heart what she had known all along. Time to cry.
