Why do women cry?

The act of crying is a reaction to an emotion as yelling is to anger. There are many reasons why women cry, and the list is infinite. Tears aren't just for cleaning the eyes of debris or when you are cutting an onion; they are good for the body and soul. Women are more emotional than their counterparts, therefore, they are more likey to cry at different events in their lives.

Sarah finally gets the interview for the job of her dreams. Her resume and references are in perfect order, she is dressed impeccably and for the first time, her hair has co-operated and she looks beautiful. She drives to the location of the interview and as she is getting out of the car, she breaks the heel on her shoe and it starts pouring down rain. She can't do anything about the shoe (she has 10 minutes before the interview), and her hair is now stringy and dripping water, and her clothes are soaked. Time to cry.

Mary is hosting Thanksgiving dinner at her house and for the very first time, the in-laws are coming. It is Wednesday morning and she is in the kitchen making all the necessary preparations for the following day. All of a sudden she hears some very strange noises coming from said refrigerator. It has decided to quit working. She calls a repairman, who swears he will be out before the end of the day. She calls him back later wondering where he is. She hears his voice mail stating, "Will be out of the office, Happy Thanksgiving." Time to cry.

*Depressed

Janice has been speaking to a gentleman regularly from a dating service for about six months. He lives in another city but states he will be able to come and see her this weekend. Janice decides she is going to prepare him a candle-lit dinner. She goes to the store and chooses her special meal carefully, picks up a bottle of wine and buys a special dress to wear for the occasion. Friday night arrives, the house is spotless, dinner is just about ready and Janice looks lovely in her new dress. It's now ten o'clock and no sign of her gentleman friend. She tries to call him but he does not answer, the dinner is ruined and she sits alone on the couch in her lovely, new dress. Time to cry.

*Death

Barbara and her mother have never really seen eye to eye on things, but as Barbara has gotten older, she is beginning to understand certain
