Two little girls souls in heaven met
One whose life ended before it began
The other whose ended in a tragic death
From heaven each girl watched her parent cry
Each girl was sad because she could not say goodbye.
The younger girl said "I watched your Daddy cry for you."
The older one said "I watched your Mother, too."
The younger one asked with her voice a bit strained.
"Do you think Mom knows that Here I suffer No pain?
That I love her for what she did for me?
That a good life on Earth for me could not be ?"
The older one said "I am sure she understands
For you to suffer was not in her plans.
Do you think my Daddy knows that I loved him
And one day will be with him again?"
"I know he had to love you from far away"
The younger one answered, "but to this day
He will talk about you with tears in his eyes
Because being your Daddy he was not allowed to try"
The older one said "I think to heaven I was sent
To watch over you as my sister and my friend."
The younger one agreed that it was meant
For a friendship and sisterhood that would never end

Though
When praying to my God for his attention,
And asking why these things should hurt so much,
My past was catching up and needed
Tired and hurt by their deceiving
I had given up believing
in a Mister Right for me
I faced a lonely destiny
But then you
