The end of the tunnel was once so clear
But I waited to long to reach it
And now here I am, stuck in the dust
With a case of claustrophobia, I can't treat it
Crawling in the blackness toward the old exit
Getting caught on rocks and cutting my knees
Afraid to stand up and hit my head
Ready to just scream "Help me please!"
I was so stupid to sit around waiting
For the exit to come to me
And now I can't escape the darkness
And enter a world I know is free
