Gentle touch
Her skin is wrinkly and old
her life, a tale, already told
Her demeanor calm and composed
A healing human amidst our fold
Her back is bent with age
but strengthened by her resolve
She carries that lone gift, for all,
spreading love is her call.
No boundaries to her giving
no restraints to her care
Each and every embrace
for one and all, everywhere.
She takes into her stride,
all the ills of downtrodden life.
Trying to end the world's strife,
one person, one group at a time.
Encouraging all to partake in her
endless pools of selflessness.
She heals ailing minds and hearts
with her warm and gentle touch.
(This poem is in reference to the one and only, wonderful, Mother Teresa!)

too afraid to run.
