When you decide you want to buy a new computer there are many things you need to consider before you make your final decision. First thing you need to know is how much you want to spend. Second thing you need to know is how long do you want the computer to last and finally you need to know what you want to do with the computer.
First thing, if you have a low budget then I advise you to buy an AMD computer. Generally they have lower prices then Intel does and the performance is not as low as the price is so you can get a genearly better overall price/wuality ratio. This processor however is better for computer games, not to work...
If you have a medium budget you will have to get a Intel Dual or Quad core. Both are super processors and will do anything you want. However for the most powerful tasks they will be not fast enough.
Finally you have the high budget. Here there is nothing better than the new iCore7 with all the super performance it has. This processor is just the best thing in the world to do anything you want. As long as you have the money for it you can be sure this processor will do fine.
Now let's see the hard disk. If you are an enterprise this will probably be the most important component in deciding the final performance of your computer. The hard disk needs to be very fast to read and write all the information sent by the processor.
A low cost hard disk is about 500 GB big and fast enough for most users. However this hard disk will not have the fast speeds that bigger hard disks have.
A medium budget hard disk will be about 1 TB and should have a speed of about 160 MB per second.
A top hard disk for the high budget will have a speed of about 300 MB/s but you will pay about 500$ for 64 GB or 128. They are the "new" SSD disks that are not really a disk, they are chips of memory. Super fast, super resistant, ultra expensive.
The graphic card you should pick is always two of each for all budgets. It's much more cheaper to get two cheaper graphic cards than to get one super expensive. I am sure you already had this experience before. You can connect them via SLI and this works best if you use the Nvidia graphic cards. Now stay away from the ATI ones!
At last you know that to make a computer you must know how to configure it as well. Extra software will be needed so you can keep up with the best computer in the world.
I mean you should pick diskeeper, tune up utilities, and all those performance boosters.
