Sun over her shoulder.
White balance, aperture, speed set.
The towers of the long bridge are reflected in the oily surface of the puddle.
The infernal glow of the sunsetting sky across the river

The puddle captures the moment.
The camera captures the puddle
For that briefest of moments when anticipation becomes memory
And all that is left is wetness on pavement.
