Poetry: A gentle touch

by Melissa Jerez

Created on: April 03, 2009

My body shivered from a single touch of his finger

His fingers made feather like trails up and down my arms

They created a symphony of emotions with each and every stroke

It was gentle and loving: unknown to me

His eyes were soft as he looked into mine

When he placed his arms around me,

my body melted against his chest.

His voice was gentle and sincere, "I love you"

and at once I let go of all my fears.
