Life Touches Me Gently
Was kissed by a moment immune to all toil,
Inspired by silence, new life from old soil.
I watched the wind dance among trees with such grace,
An effortless movement of all things in place.
Convinced that all dreams were filled with true green,
And rivers that gave way to no where obscene.
Skies held surprises if searched with both eyes;
There's magic and wisdom from all that abides.
Holding me steadfast, all time falls asleep,
I roam down an old path and listen to peace.
A heartbeat and rhythm once shared with this land,
I'm blessed by the fullness so vivid and grand.
Speak to me softly, my ears come alive,
Life touches me gently some place deep inside.
