Rock of Ages
I'll be your rock of ages
Whenever you need me
To provide love and understanding
Through good times and bad
I'll always be there for you
Even when we've grown old
Your heart I will always cherish
And treat it as my own
All you need to do
Is whisper my name, I'll hear
And home to you I'll come running
To keep you from harm's way
I hold your hand in mine
And clasp it to my heart
I'll be strong when I need to be
And gentle when I don't
I'll always love and protect you
For as long we both shall live
And be your shoulder to cry upon
Your lover and best friend
