On this street before me, I see Goodness Ave.
And stare out further ,taking in the people before me.
Here a smile slyly sits upon my face.Strangers passing by
one another saying "hi, good morning, have a good day."
They say to each other, going on their way. Yes humanity
lives here on Goodness Ave.

But does it live on Kindness St. I ponder the question,
running towards Kindness St. Once there I take in again,

humanity. And yet again I smile. For in this place. Ted I'll
name him, is at Jim's place. Jim's wife died, just a month ago.
Poor Jim, he's old and alone. Ted's lived on this strreet just
two weeks no more. But Kindness St. Somehow settled in.
Now Ted goes over to Jim's, twice weekly.Just to give Jim the
simple act of kindness.Spending time with him.Yes, humanity
lives here as well.

Yet still I push on. I want the whole of humanity fixed and set.
So I decide to go a bit further.To Selfishness Rd. At this place,
I lost my smile.Each person caring in the moment for just
themselves. Sarah their lost her wallet just paid and going to pay
rent. Along the way her wallet did fall. And Karen walking a little
way behined her .Picks it up she goes out that night and has a ball.
Looking causes tears to rise in my eyes. Karen knows Sarah.
Friends supposdly they are.She knew whom the money belonged,
knew what it was for. Karen will never tell and Sarah will have
no home no more.Yes even here lays a part of humanity.

Sickened by the scene, I move on. Coming to War Rd. A second of
looking is all I need. Death resides in the faces, that walk this street.
So much anger in the people passing by.Taking lives in any war.
It does not matter if you were right or wrong.You can't erase no
matter how hard you try.Here life and what it is. Has scarred the
lives that walk this street.And yes again in tears I stand knowing
humainty is here as well.

I must try one more, yet I'm slower in my approach Trying to figure
out humankind in the grand design.My heart was elated when I
started.And now it's numb.Sometimes one can take no more.
Yet I arrived at Understanding St. Looking up everyone was here.
And I stood in silent thought. No grin, No frown. More of a
perplexed look. My face did make. It seems that we all have parts
to us some good some bad.We all have wars to start personal or
political.We all at one time or another will help another. It gets
down to numbers.I scream is that how one comes to humanity's
present standing.What's been added up between right and wrong.
Where then is humanitys total.

Someone yelled, turning my head in the direction this voice came
from. No face was visible, but I knew this voice came from Understanding
St. You've another road it's called Crossroads Aves. Plural I know, more
then one. One could lose themselves to all the Crossroad Aves, one
takes. When the decisions are important and there's more then two
decisions to choose.But each of equal value, but only one outcome.
This is Crossroad Aves, Where we choose what roads to take.

Humanity holds on in good or bad times. Yes one of us ,given there
are so many of us ,at times does let go.That's okay, someone from
humanity is still holding on. Learning at times, losing at times.
Even at times kind and loving. While in the same stroke of the pen,
hatred and unjustice comes forth upon humaity's form.It's here at the
Crossroads Aves.We take which way humainty goes.Why down these
roads are byways,bridges,even highways you could end up on Money
Ave,Broke St, If your lucky Loving and Kindness St. Why the roads just
go on.But here at Crossroads Aves. Each of us does are part for
humanity as awhole.Just depends on which way we each go.
