Seagull Songs
The ocean embraces the shores of my heart,
I'm lost in the songs of the seagulls.
Salt water dreaming enables new start,
At the source where no waves strike the able.
Children take flight by the wind and great might,
As they run with their kite spools in hand.
Others by grace swim like fish in daylight,
To forget they are creatures of land.
All castles of sand and youth make their stand,
As the warmth of the sun guards the day.
Many have come to know peaceful again,
Kicking back on a beach; hear the waves.
Remember such times when life offers up gray,
Drifting as seagulls, so care free they sway.

I want to gather colorful seashells,
hold them
