A day at the Beach
A lonely day
I drift away
to the sounds and music
the ocean plays
The salty aroma
teases my senses
so pure, so natural
I become vibrantly alive
The warmth of the sun
beams gently on me
as if this is what life
was intended to be
I lay upon its sandy shore
and feel its joy
so peaceful and so free
as if life touched me
for the very first time.

I want to gather colorful seashells,
hold them
