Young and poor. Is that all you see? Please don't feel bad for me. I may not have all that you do, but I have things I have a few.
My family is why I feel rich, wealthy happy and strong. I have enough love from them all to last my whole life long.
My life, my own, something I can own. I'm lucky I was given life this body is my own. My brain, my heart a work of art I'm priceless this I know. So plese don't feel bad for me. I've got my life you know?
The final reason I don't need pity is I have got my faith. Knowing I'm loved from up above puts me in my place. I am here because He loves me and becuse he cares. He has his plan for all of man, yes all the human race. So, please don't pity me I'm rich with all this faith.

Don't pity me because my hair is gray:
years took its toll, causing my back to sway,
roads were rocky and hills hard to climb,
nights
Don't pity me
the woman whispered
even though I die alone,
for I have lived a full life,
never stooping to pick up
after
Don't pity me all you people,
the very ones who shot me down;
making sure when I was happy,
somehow you caused a frown.
Don't
I am an old man, whithered and bent
My youth and vigor are all spent
You may think it's sad, don't
