There has never been a better time in history to be a woman than right now. You have arrived. After spending half a lifetime exploring the options, making good choices and recovering from the occasional bad ones, you can look at yourself in the mirror and, with a broad smile of satisfaction, take pride in the reflection before you.

For women in the 21st century, the future is now. You watched your grandmother and mother struggle with the evolving status of women in society and now you are reaping the benefits of their hard-earned victories and discouraging defeats. You are part of the tide of self-actualized women who are shaping the future of women and the world for the next generation and beyond. What a great feeling!

You are proving that, while it may not be possible to have it all, you can pick and choose among the vast array of possibilities and have what you want. You are old enough to have experienced life on many levels, wise enough to go after what you want with the resources to make your goals reality and, because of the level of confidence that comes from being mistress of your own destiny, absolutely stunning in your presentation to the world.

You are the woman of the future. You are the woman past generations of women have been waiting for. You are the woman that will inspire future generations of women to excel. You became that woman by grabbing at every brass ring life had to offer. With or without a man by your side, you are taking on the world. And the world is taking notice.

Many of you came from humble beginnings. Your early years were, more than likely, spent being raised in traditional female roles. Thanks, in large part, to the advances in technology and communications you were fortunate enough to see and hear the rumblings of change that were sweeping society. Because of your greater exposure to the world, you could see beyond your own four walls and know there was more out there within your reach if only you would step forward to take it.  And step forward you did.

Because of you, every new generation of young women will have the necessary role model to inspire her to blaze her own fresh, new pathway through life. You cannot be stopped. Now that you know your own worth, life is yours to command. Every dream is yours to reach out and touch; every goal can be achieved if you choose to pursue it with vigor and determination.

Take a deep breath; stand tall. You are the woman of the future. And the future is now.
