As you are probably aware, Twitter is becoming more and more popular by the day.
It is a fun way to keep abreast of your friends activities, to know when your favorite websites have been updated, and even news channels are jumping on the Twitter bandwagon by updating Twitter with the latest news stories in 140 letters or less?.
But did you know that there is now a good chance that your favorite celebrity may be "twittering" as well? Many celebrities have already signed up with the exploding social network and more are joining daily.
Be it to jot down a thought they are thinking, leaving a favorite quote, giving a reaction to a news story, or simply using it for publicity, Twitter is becoming a great way for celebrities to keep in touch with their fans. It is also an intimate way for fans to really get to know the person they admire without having to weed out the truth between fact and fiction found in the tabloids.
The following are just some of the celebrities that are on Twitter now. The name in parenthesis is their Twitter name. If you would like to follow them: simply sign into your Twitter account, type their screen name in the search box on top and click on the follow button next to their picture.

Just be warned however, it can also get very addicting.
