Poetry: New love

by Jennifer Bland

Created on: April 01, 2009

Stares.

Smiles.

Fingers brushing naked skin.

Disturbance in my heart begins.

Kiss.

Touch.

Greeting souls within our bones.

Breaking limits-Finding homes.

Loosing time as your hang roams.

Hold.

Feel.

Palm to palm-our hearts switch chests.

Mouths exchange and we're impressed.

Embrace.

Fall.

Spilling nervous through my wine.

You're learning me; we're doing fine.

You found me when I'd lost my mind.

Whispers.

Songs.

Writing promises on skin.

We lay taking this all in.

Dreams.

Action!

I wake up to see you there-

No walls, no clothes, we're bare.

Running smiles through your hair.

I'm undone, but you don't seem to care.

It always starts so flawless.
