Why do women over 40 always look so calm, happy and have a special sparkle in their eyes that makes you think they have a secret that only other women over 40 are allowed to know?

Young women today have more responsibility and stress than ever before in history. Women today work full-time jobs while taking care of their children, keeping their homes beautiful, making financial decisions and have to try to be beautiful at the same time. That is an incredible amount of pressure.

By the time a woman hits 40, she has already traveled life's rocky road, learned the lessons only a woman and mother can learn and she has the scars to prove it. After spending the first twenty some years of her adult life raising children, and working her fingers to the bone, todays older woman has earned the right to finally relax and take care of herself for a change.

After She has finally released the last little bird from the nest, today's older woman has the time to focus her energy on herself for a change. Some women choose to go back to school and finish getting that degree they put on hold for the sake of family. Others choose to spend a little of their hard earned cash on well deserved vacations, beauty treatments they couldn't afford before or finally quitting the safe job they had to have, in order to finally pursue their dreams.

Todays older woman knows that she has already paid her dues and earned the right to take care of herself. No longer having to devote all of her energy to taking care of everyone else, she looks more relaxed and beautiful than ever before. It's really hard to be beautiful when you're stressed out and dealing with everything involved with raising a family, taking care of a home and working full-time to pay the bills.

Once a woman makes it past that phase of her life, she does know a secret that younger women can never know until they themselves have reached that point. That wisdom combined with the freedom to finally be able to take care of herself is what makes today's older woman wiser and more stunning than ever before.

Every year women take on more and more responsibility. Many women are now the primary wage earners or single parents, taking care of everything alone. Todays older woman is stronger, wiser and more beautiful than any other generation. As our world keeps getting more complicated and women continue to evolve, tomorrows older women are going to be even more spectacular.
