~Daisies~
With soft-white, velvet petals
Filled with vibrant colours of rich honey.
With stems of deep green and leaves soft as cotton.
Set in rich soil; reaching for the sun,
Forever unspoken beauty, bursting forth from small unborn buds.
They grow in small spurts, grasping at the warm sun rays.
They grow tall and strong;
To always grace our hills.
Daisies; Soft and Delicate,
And
Forever Unspeakable Beauty.

by Haley Gray

at the end of the curving
tire-track road,
is illuminated by a moon
