If anybody types "work from home" into a search engine there really should be a Government Warning that pops up stating "THIS SEARCH COULD SERIOUSLY DAMAGE YOUR WEALTH"

Joking apart it is a sad fact of life that there are millions of people who are willing and able to work from home, yet all they find is a minefield of "get rich quick schemes" and companies who after taking the work refuse to pay out.

There are many different styles and types of homework scams and I will attempt to outline the worse:

To start with always remember the old saying "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". Once you begin to read the headline, earn $1,000's for only working 15 minutes a day, alarm bells should ring, why read any further just leave the site.

Never ever pay out any money for any position, these scam artists employ the very best copywriters for their sales letters. We know unfortunately that these ploys work, if they did not the sites would have disappeared by now. They are clever and cunning and the more you read, the more you are sucked in.

Following on should you even be thinking about investing with "said" company, do not be convinced about that little box at the bottom containing the guarantee. 99% of those "Guarantee's" are worthless. You will not see a dime in return.

When it comes to joining sites like Completing Survey's, reading emails etc., check out the minimum payout figure. People fail to realise this is another form of a scam; the payout can often take a year or two or even more to reach. During this time, the company can close or usually relies on their workers giving up on ever matching the figure.

Always read the small print, you would be amazed to see some of the terms and conditions that these companies encourage new users to sign. A typical line to watch is the statement that they can delete your account and earnings at any time.

If you find a job that interests you, check out how much they are going to pay. There are many companies that appear to offer a suitable programme for you, by calculating their rate of pay; you may find it equals only a few cents an hour.

If it does happen to you and you are embarrassed to discover you were caught in a scam, please do not hide away. Join a forum there are a lot out there, you can sign up with a user name and report your findings for other potential victims to read. Always remember "if in doubt, check em out!" Just enter the company name and add scam on a search. Forums will appear, read the reports and take heed.
