The kind of help you need to get your online business rolling, starts with an understanding of online promotion and taking the daily steps you need to take to get recurring positive results for your online business.
The one thing that can help you with your online business, without you going broke in the process, is bum marketing campaign. A lot of people are starting to hear about bum marketing, but in many cases they do not fully understand how to set up a full bum marketing campaign that will bring them serious results.
What is a bum marketing campaign? A bum marketing campaign is a FREE campaign. A campaign that allows you to use ONLY free methods, such as articles, free blogs, web 2.0 sites, and more.
Yes, you can create full blown campaigns with the same results that you would achieve with paid avenues. The difference is, you don't have to spend any money in order to get the results. What do I mean by same results? I mean that you could find your product or products on the first page of a Google or Yahoo search with a free bum marketing campaign as much as you would with a paid one.
What do you need to start your free bum marketing campaign?
1) You need to have at least one product that you can sell. It can be a physical product or a digital product.
2) You need to have a domain name that could be linked to the sale's page of the product. This is the only thing that you would actually need to purchase. A domain name can cost you as low as under $10 per year. This is a must even if you were not running an online campaign.
If you don't' have a product yet, you can look for one within different "product banks" such as Clickbank, Commission Junction or Link Share to start with. There are more places where you can find products to sell online, but these three are plenty to start with.
3) You need to learn as much as you can about your product in order to be able to write articles about it.
4) Start writing one article per day about one feature of your product.
5) Once your article is written, try to break it down while adding more specific information about the product, and create a Squidoo lens or a Hubpages post. If your create both (a Squidoo lens and a Hubpages post) for the same article, you need to have different content on each one.
6) Once your Squidoo lens, hubpages post and article are indexed on Google, grab the RSS feed for each one, and feed it to different RSS feed directories.
7) Write blog posts about your Squidoo lenses, Hubpages and articles on free blogs, such as Blogger or Wordpress.
8) Start this process all over again each week.
There are more detailed steps that you can take to create a free bum marketing campaign that works, but these are the basics that any internet marketer who wants to have an online business started and running should know about. You can improve you technique by getting more knowledge through information that is available to you. In time your online business could be up and running, bringing you the cash results you are looking for.
