Do-it-yourself spa treatment tips

in a blender. Spoon mixture onto plastic wrap and wrap around the bottoms of your feet. Wrap a warm towel around the outside of the plastic wrap and sit with your feet elevated for 20 mins to half and hour. Remove towel and plastic wrap and rinse your feet with warm water.

Bath time delight:

Take a glass jar with a screw on lid. Pour Epsom salts into the jar. Add 15 to 20 drops of your favorite essential oil or perfume. Use 2-3 Tbsp of this mixture in the bath and save the rest for later. Try lavender for stress relief, jasmine for romance, and citrus to wake you up in the morning.

If you have a little more time for prep layer epson salts with dried lavender, dried lemon peels or rose petals in the jar creating 3-4 layers. Let the salts sit for 2 weeks. Now you can use the salts in your bath.

Hair treatment:

1/2 cup of honey

1/4 cup of olive oil

3-4 drops of your favorite essential oil

Mix the ingredients together in a blender and pout into an empty shampoo bottle. Massage into hair and wrap with a warm towel. Leave on for 10- 15 minutes then shampoo as usual. This is a great conditioner to moisturise stressed hair.

It doesn't take much money to have a relaxing spa at home. For 20-40$ buy a couple very soft bath sheets for pampering outside the tub.If you can afford to spend a little more consider investing in a jacuzzi bath mat for 50-100 $. A jacuzzi bath mat creates the feeling of a jacuzzi in a regular bath. Try out bubble bath its just as much fun as it was when we were kids. Have your husband take the kids to the park for an hour ot two while you pamper your self. Try relaxing treatments right before bed and then sleep the night away. There are many sites available with even more recipes and ideas. These are just some of my favorites.
