Love is about many things. Some of them are commitment, friendship, sharing, helping, affection, romance, physical love, happiness, caring, needing, hurting, hugs, understanding, good times, bad times, laughing, crying, and facing the good, the bad, and the ugly. Love is also about two, not one.

It's impossible to imagine a world without love because love is everything. It's something everyone needs but doesn't always find easily or when they need it.

Love comes in all shapes and sizes.

Love is always a surprise. It's not our birthright but something that can hit someone out of the clear blue when it's totally unexpected. That's the best kind, by far.

Love can't be pushed. To all those people desperate to find someone, maybe the answer isn't in online dating clubs, doing the bar scene, or anything like that. Relax. When the time comes for you to fall in love, you will know.

Love is amazing. Perhaps your idea of your "perfect" man is one who is tall, dark and handsome; yet somehow, you find yourself falling for someone short, blond and just passable in the looks department. It doesn't matter; love will shine through making that man more handsome in your eyes than any movie star.

Love is sometimes fickle. Have you ever read about people who were high school sweethearts but for some reason didn't end up together, after all? Forty or fifty years later, they meet again, and they find the spark is still there. Yes, all those years later and the spark is still there. That is definitely love at its finest.

Love knows no age. Some people believe that teenagers don't know what love is or that the elderly are past the point where they need love. Neither is true. Some couples who started out in their teens have kept going until death parted them. And some couples marry for the first time in their eighties.

Love is faithful. That is, true love. When you're loved, you don't have to worry about other men or other women coming in between your relationship. If your love is steadfast, Brad or Angelina could walk in the door, and it wouldn't mean a thing to either of you.

Love is strong. It is the thing that can sustain you through all the bad times. As your love and your relationship grow, you will experience many changes, some good and some bad. With love, you will be able to weather any storm and come through it stronger than you were before.

Love sometimes makes mistakes. It can happen. But you can't give up on it. There is always hope that the universe has someone else in mind for you and that even though you are hurting now, soon your true love will find you.

Today could be the day.
