The slow drops of flammable hatred flood my veins,
Building up over time.
There's nothing I can do to stop it,
Paralysed by the fatality of loss of hope.
I stand, alone, head bent towards the wind,
Hardly accepting that all is lost,
Hardly caring that all is burning around me.
All I can do is stand, a bent and broken soul to watch.
I'm sick of holding this match,
That I'm too scared to drop,
Yet too weak to blow to the wind,
Stuck in limbo, unable to decide which end to choose.
It's not your fault that I fell so heavily,
It's all we could have expected,
Having thrown myself up so high,
My crash and burn wasn't for you.
Yet one of us has to live.
Two souls, enextricably intertwined,
Ripped apart.
It could only have ever ended in destruction.
I stand, head bent towards the wind,
Flames exploding around my self-destroyed world.
How I lost the game I can't remember,
Maybe I just gave up fighting for myself.
As the last pillars fall in my previous dreams,
I realise I've lost it all.
Souls like ours can't be apart,
Without downfall and death.
One of us has to live,
One of us has to die.
It's not our faults,
That we couldn't choose the light.
I hand you the match,
And face the darkness inside my soul.
Let me burn in my own destruction.
Let me choose the night.
I hand you the match,
And turn my face into the night,
One of us has to die,
And I'm too far lost to survive.
One of us has to live,
One of us has to die.
No one throught it would end like this,
But our souls tore and decided.
I'll surrender mine.
So you can survive.

The Lost Souls
I once met an old man in a dream,
A dream that was not all that it seemed.
Its colors were splashed with shades
They often seem quite ordinary, at first glance,
Maybe a little less open or filled with confidence,
Like you or me. Floating,

INTO DARKNESS
Our hearts beat, but our souls are lost;
Our blood is warm, yet we are as cold as frost.
We are not shepherds,
