One would need to ask what an illusion is? Are illusions not existent in some way too as chemical configurations in neural transmission receptors? So a few of those chemicals have gone on a party for-themselves regarding time and race ahead or slow way down-if Charlie Brown has that experience of time does it mean that everyone does as well?
Human minds must experience the passage of time at more or less the same rate. Human sense perceptions of time must be of a similar nature. The rates of change of external, objective quantum materials are uniform through the Universe it is believed. Because certain cosmological constant rates are actually constant human opportunity to experience the rate of change of those constants is nearly always the same, and the objective change of mass also provides the same rate of time advance experience.
Near light speed travel is believed to subtly alter the experience of the passage of time. Einstein's special theory concerned that experience, yet it was probably predicated upon the rates of change of specially chosen quantum elements in the Universe.Accelerating various kinds of mass might not have the same relationship near light speed. Photons that are nearly massless, or actually so, do not put on infinite spare-tires of weight with speed, and neither do they experience time. Time if a rate of change of mass, logically decreases as it reaches near-light speed while increasing its mass weight. Mass that can escape it's low-velocity existence unfortunately increases it's mass as it does so.
Human perception of the comparative rate of change of mass might be able to notice the weight value added experience as it increased speed and decreased time, yet perhaps only by noticing any effect upon the rates of change of various mass values and elements within the accelerated field. It seems improbable that all of the quantum mechanical world would function without change in an accelerated inertial frame near light speed. One might think that some fundamental quantum relationships might break down with an infinite increase of mass that could be observed in the comparatively accelerated inertial frame to be noticed in an objective way by an accelerated observer..
The kinds of mass accelerated in a given field of space-time must encounter the fundamental characteristics of the field in which it travels. If the field has most time value at low value-high density localities and least in empty space, and massless particles too have the

Is our sometimes elusive experience of Time a simple illusion as some suggest or is the subject just more complex than we
Time is certainly an illusion created by Man in order to create ‘order’ and 'meaning' to our lives From
Time is a function of our spatial and temporary earth existence. Because the way God made us includes a linear progression
That's a hard one. It seems that is is perfectly possible to argue either way, so I will just leap in and then see what
