Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game (MMORPG): Building a good team

RUINSOFCHAOS, an online massive multiplayer game is an active gaming platform with over 3000 users playing worldwide. It is a game played in large scale on turn based strategy where one have to secure gold through battle for buying weapons and up-gradation.

The game is played by first selecting a race among Humans, Dwarfs, Elves or Orcs. Race should be selected according to the game strategy to be incorporated. The races have different bonus as below:

1. Humans : 20% income bonus

2. Dwarves : 40% defence bonus

3. Elves : 25% covert bonus

4. Orcs : 30% attack bonus

Every half an hour a turn is credited in the players account with gold (i.e. Turn Based Gold) calculated based on your total fighting force. This gold is used to buy weapons as well as up-gradation and the turn received is used to attack an opponent whereby a successful attack results to stealing gold from them. So every 24 hours, 48 turns is available to play. Since the turn based gold gets accumulated and if not used may get stolen through attacks from other players. Players have to maintain their military division such as attack, defense, spy and sentry by buying weapons and up-grading.

This game can be played either as attacker or defender. An attacking account should have very high attack and spy. High spy enables the player to view gold in the battlefield and with high attack, he can be able to steal the gold. And a defensive account should have very high defence and sentry. High sentry will hide his gold from being seen by the opponent and higher defence will keep the gold from being stolen. This game gets further more exciting by inviting friends to join the allies and fighting as a clan just as a real time war.

Inside the game, one can recruit players to join under one's command forming a stronger unit and its in-game messaging system helps in keep touch with other player's. The person in the top of the command chain is know as a commander and those joining under his command as his officers, followed by sub-officers. It is also played alone without joining any allies but it is always beneficial to be in a group where the higher ranked players in the chain can come to aid of the upcoming accounts. To make the game more realistic, a player with higher spy can sabotage the weapons of those with smaller sentry and often there involves war between big allies involving hundreds of players. Just like the injured soldiers in a real war, one will see huge accounts dropping and falling to lowest rank during the period of wars.

It is a good game and worth playing.
