Losing the negative person in you

Often the interaction between you and others makes you feel negative. Negativity is a painful process which stops a human being from going forward. Black is black and there are no shades of gray. With his kind of attitude, what you get into when you find negativity taking over is a state of unhappiness fueled by negative thoughts. There are many effective ways to overcome negativity and to find the positive person lurking inside. It is only when you do find them that you can go forward with a better understanding of life.

*Having a broader mindset.
*Laughing at life and seeing it from a different perspective.
*Losing that negative person inside.

Where the negative feelings are coming from.

Perhaps these stem from disappointment in others, or in circumstances we feel define who we are. The trouble with this outlook is that if people or circumstances bring out the negative in you, you need not look for others to correct who they are, or circumstances to go away. What you need is to address the way you perceive them. Put a bowl of ice cream in front of a hungry child and they will see this as a positive temptation. Put that same bowl of ice cream in front of a lady who is fighting back obesity, and it takes on a whole different meaning. The perception of situations and people who cause us to have negative thoughts is the cause, rather than those situations and people themselves.

Who's fault are they?

No-one is perfect, and the blame may lay on several people's shoulders. What happens is that by holding on to negative thought, you strengthen negativity. So what if someone made a mistake or disappointed you. Look at it in a different manner and you can actually visualize the situations where you yourself have been at fault, and realize that it is only your perception which causes you to harbor negativity. A man steals from you. Who is at fault and who should be blamed? They should of course be responsible for their own actions and it is them who have to live with the consequences of what they did. Get over it. Holding on to grudges about how other people are is unwise and beyond your control. You can only control who you are and how you react to given situations.

Learning to turn negatives into positives.

It's great practice to play a game of turning negatives into positives. Take a look at your day and write down all the things you feel are negative. Then write down
