How do I get my Helium articles rated to the top?

at hand.

If you list the items which are necessary to make a complete article, you will find this easier. Often we use our knowledge and leave out the items we forget, although it is wiser to research those elements which make the article complete, and to list your sources. When approaching a topic, think of every aspect a reader may wish to know about that topic, because only then can you create a number one article which is sufficient to satisfy readers.

Learn to curb wandering off topic.

Often, we feel so passionate about a topic that we wander. Meandering is not a good idea in a Helium article and will leave the reader or rater frustrated, waiting for you to come to the point. Have you ever experienced a conversation where people take forever to get to the point? This kind of work irritates raters and will certainly not help you gain the top slots.

Beginning, Middle and End.

These are always rules for writing which should be adhered to. Each article needs an introduction, followed by a logical sequence of paragraphs which lead the reader to a conclusion. Something particularly relevant to No. 1 articles on Helium is that they rarely open with a small sentence. What they need is a real introduction to the subject and strong beginnings and endings tempt even those raters who do not take the time to read the whole article to judge that article on the strength of openings and closings.

Success.

The road to success is open to everyone on Helium, though is often the lesser trod route. Look through your articles. Look at openings, closings and presentation. Bring them up to date, adding more information where information is sparse, and leapfrog them to success. It is simple to get articles rated highly, by following the guidelines given above. Having pages and pages of No. 1 articles adds to that feeling of satisfaction and also to the element of competition. Think of how your articles will be perceived in the rating boxes, and the process becomes simpler and easier to understand.
