Empowerment through self-discovery

Today our lives are filled with grief, despair and worry. Ultimately we are left confused and disappointed. We have to struggle to see and hear through the mist of devastated hopes and doubts, to focus on problems and solutions. When our heart is broken and our mind is staggering, it is very difficult to focus on task at hand. In those moments we feel there is no way to understand, no way to make sense or get out of the chaos.

We have to stop this all running round the bush in order to find true happiness and peace. We think we can be happy if we have lot of money in our bank account or if we have big mansions, or all the luxuries or if we have acertain person in life. But the fact remains true that we cannot find peace and happiness in those material things or external world. We have to stop in order to find happiness and joy. As a result of searching and expectations we become stressful and worried.

Our lifestyle is a desperate sense of we do not have enough. We do not have enough money; we do not have enough possessions. We are not safe. We do not have love in our lives. We are ignorant to the reality that nobody has achieved enough.

In order to receive love we have to offer love. We think it is difficult to stop to reflect on the insatiable quality of not enough-ness. ? This is the real disease we are inflicted with.

We find it difficult to be thankful and grateful for what we have with the mad sense of not enough. We can be happy and joyful when we are grateful and gratefulness gives us the happiness and not the happiness will give us the gratefulness.

Finding our way back to love and gratefulness is the most difficult task. When we open our hearts to love and compassion something beautiful will begin to happen and it is a kind of spiritual open-heart surgery.

It was fascinating to watch our own emotional and physical energy patterns shift as the thoughts in our souls to shift from shock, sadness, and disbelief to appreciation, gratitude, and love. We could see, quite clearly, the magnetic attraction of love and gratitude which offer such a obvious sense of connection.

Our minds resist letting go of thoughts filled with worry and sadness because they are so strong. They appear as so powerful and strong but only illusions.

Love and gratitude will pave the way for joy. Clinging to sadness is trick of the mind to keep us stuck in a place of isolation.
