Naturally Beautiful, Beautifully Natural: To display natural beauty means to not alter one's appearance in any way, shape, or form. To accept your own uniqueness and capitalize on it. Why do we put so much emphasis on physical beauty?...since when is it a deal maker or breaker? This is completely absurd and we need to take a step back and look at the person as a "whole." It angers me incredibly that western society agrees and/or allows this to continue. So many individuals question their importance in the world because of how they are perceived by others on their external. I know of many proud, courageous, and confident women who are extremely beautiful inside and out... diamonds in the rough so to speak but that rarely get the opportunity to dazzle. A feeling of constantly defending one's credibility on a daily basis because of looks. We all struggle with our inner demons, choosing one's battles based on our mood. "Discard to wind what others will say, and simply embrace all that you are today and will be tomorrow." True beauty is to stay true to yourself and your personal beliefs. There will always be those bullies who will test you by tearing you apart piece by piece because you are a true original being and that scares them. The general public is extremely ill informed when it comes to going against the grain.'

You must find a happy medium within and some suggestions for that would be to find supportive friends, those who you can confide in and are always positive and uplifting. What people, say or do has a huge baring on ones self image and outlook. Make your own "attitude file" by detailing stories, inspirational quotes or photographs from moments in life that made you feel good about yourself. Lastly, listen to your inner voice and/or intuition it will guide you in the right direction and treat it as if its your own cheering section, encouraging you to weed out all the negative energy. Remember, to take a break and do something for yourself whether it be soaking in a bubble bath, fix your hair, or buy a new outfit. Whatever the case may be do it for you and only you.

Beauty, of course, like everything else is a state of mind...a prime example of mind over matter.' In order to exude beauty and confidence you must find it within first. Learn to love yourself and you will find peace and serenity. Appreciating natural beauty is something that many women can identify with as we all want to look and feel our best it is only natural. But at what cost? Why are
