In this day and age no one needs to use coupons anymore. The following are a list of a couple of ways in which you can save money without using coupons.
1. See if the grocery stores you visit have any discount grocery stores around
If you like the look and feel of a grocery store you may be surprised to find out that the same companies have discount grocery stores around! But you have to do your research on the company to find this out. For example in my neighborhood Food Lion and Bottom Dollar are essentially the same store; they sell the same store brands, it is just that Bottom Dollar is cheaper than Food Lion as a regular rule.
2. Shop for groceries at discount stores in the wrong part of town
Some of your best discount stores are found in some of the worst neighborhoods. The reason being should be obvious as the people in these neighborhoods cannot realistically afford the higher prices of groceries elsewhere. You see plenty of these up in the North where you are forced between taking a bus out to the suburbs to find a quality grocery store or paying a premium of 30% to save a few bucks in your own neighborhood. You may want to take that bus out there to save a considerable amount of money on the bill; just be sure you don't buy too much to weigh you down on the long walk back to the apartment and please don't take a cab unless you are spending hundreds on groceries to justify the cost of
