Poetry: Love expressed

by Monique Morrison

Created on: March 27, 2009

When it's here I don't want it

When it's gone I yearn for more

I take for granted something special

And think of it as a chore

But absence make the heart grow fonder

Absence makes the mind remind

Of all the times bad and good

And in my heart I did find

A little bit that was missing

A little piece I gave away

It took me now to finally realize

You can't be absent for one more day
