Beautiful, precious wonder
be strong and grow-
this was possibly a thorn in your side
that felt like a rose in your hands.
The difference in lovers are the make and break:
It was made, it was working, and it broke in a slip.
There's no such thing as fault in this wreck:
"an accident" as they say.
There's always tomorrow- don't worry your pretty head.
"Go from this and grow from this" is what I've always said.
Your broken wings won't be too hard to mend;
it'll take more time than it will thread, but again-
"an accident" as they say.
You're an original design; a vintage porcelain.
A little shatter never looked so promising,
a little pain has broken everyone.
Don't defer your dreams and hopes so completely;
let the pieces fall where they may
then snatch them up and run away.
Because you've got no time or reason for this nuisance to die you down-
"an accident" as they say.
