I'm not sure if it's rude to answer a question with a question, but I do have a question I just have to ask. Am I supposed to be laughing this hard? Seriously now, is this a trick question?

I can't look at Al Gore without thinking that any second someone is going to yell out "Live from New York, its Saturday Night". He's just a joke to me. I know that's a terrible thing to say about a man who held the office of Vice President of the United States of America, but what can I say. I've tried not to be so disrespectful, but a zebra just can't change its spots you know. I may not understand it, but I guess there are a lot of people out there who respect Al Gore, I mean there must be at least a million billion right?

Now I have to admit that I lean pretty far right. While I'm admitting things, I'm not afraid to admit that I'm not the smartest person on the planet. I'm not a total nit whit, I do know who our founding fathers are, but it's not like I invent the Internet or anything. And though I have never spent the night on a dairy farm, I know that just because Chicken Little says the sky is falling does not necessarily mean that the sky is falling.

Al Gore has tried to scare us into thinking the sky will fall or something if we don't start reducing the size of our carbon footprint. Meanwhile his carbon footprint is bigger than the line of women in this country waiting for a sonogram to determine whether they have breast cancer. I mean have you seen the mans utility bill? Come on Al, stop being a hypocrite already and make a real sacrifice before you ask me to. Buying carbon credits is easy, I would like to see him really put his money where his mouth is and just simply cut down. I'm no Al Gore expert, but as far as I can tell he hasn't made a whole lot of sacrifices in his life. Maybe I shouldn't judge him, I haven't had a real hard road myself. I have never even had to pretend to be a dog or a cat to get a price break.

Now I don't like to be negative all the time so I should point out that Al Gore does have some good qualities. He knows his NBA players and Courtney love songs, so he's obviously not a total square. He thinks of men and women as maybe even more so in equality. Let's not forget either that he is the only person who noticed that the earth was upside down. We could have all fallen off if not for him.

If I've offended or completely confused you, I do apologize. I hope by this point you know that I was trying to be funny. I must say I had a good time writing this article, so to Al Gore I say "Machismo Gracias".
