Is the summer heat in the Caribbean worth enduring for cheaper travel? Absolutely!

The summer heat is daily temperatures in the upper 80's and lower 90's. Where do you live that your temperatures don't reach that in the summer months, Siberia?

Humidity isn't a problem. Chances are your less than a block from a cool, inviting, refreshing body of water. And sometimes a five minute sprinkle of rain is just what is needed to balance out the temperature during the day.

There are probably more bugs in your back yard or buzzing around in your garden then you are likely to encounter during the summer months in the Caribbean. That is largely due to the abundance of lizards and crabs that populate the sandy areas in this region.

In fact, every single argument I have heard as to why someone would not want to travel to the Caribbean during the summer months has been debunked by trips I have taken there during that time myself.

The savings one receives from traveling to the Caribbean during the summer, or the dreaded Hurricane Season, go far beyond just that of cheaper travel to your destination. Travelers during the summer months can also expect cheaper stays in the hotels and resorts, more personal attention, and much fewer tourists, with the exception of staying in an area that caters to cruise ships. But even those areas clear out after a few hours and ships don't dock every day.

Having stayed in Grand Cayman, the Dominican Republic, and Jamaica, during the dog days of August every year for the past three years and comparing it to the vacation to Cozumel in January of this year, it is without question the more enjoyable of these vacations was spent during the summer months and the best one of all was the ten days spent on Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman.

If you want to avoid the crowds take your dream Caribbean Vacation during the months of May through August. Also many hotels and resorts offer special incentives like free nights, free spa treatments, or free excursions if you stay during the summer months.

If you want proof of the savings just go to Expedia or any other vacation planning website and enter your information for a seven day trip to anywhere in the Caribbean and follow the steps all the way through to get the final price. Then go back to the beginning and just change the dates you are traveling to be seven days in July or August. The cost difference will astound you.
