People love to make a fashion statement. Most people want that statement to reflect to others style and class. However, it often says lazy and uncaring. This is the case with the new "fashion of wearing pajama pants in public.

Pajama pants can be very cute. They usually have some kind of wild design on them and wearing them around the house is no problem. They are very comfortable, but, they should not be worn in public. They are called pajama pants for a reason. The reason is that they are meant to wear to bed or in the comfort of your home.

Here are some reasons that pajama pants should be used for the sole purpose they were made for:

People Know

People can tell the difference between pajama pants and regular pants. Pajama pant lovers will argue that they look just like a pair of pants that you can wear at anytime. They are wrong in this assumption. There are very obvious differences between regular pants and jammie pants. The material is different and the designs are a dead give away.

You Look Lazy

People that wear these pants in public appear to others as though they are too lazy to get dressed. This image is furthered when you wear fuzzy slippers to complete the look. The way you dress reflects the type of person that you are.

It Doesn't Make You Cool

People that wear jammie pants in public are under the impression that they look cool. This couldn't be further from the truth. You look as though you just rolled out of bed and don't care how you look. This holds true for people that walk around the local Walmart dressed in this fashion as well. Redneck do have some standards.

We Don't Know How Long You Have Been Shopping

We know that some of you do wear this type of clothing to stores because you are running out really quick to get something. What we don't know is which one of you is doing that. Stepping out of the house for even one moment in your pajamas brings the same image as if you had been out all day in the fanciest restaurants and the mall shopping.

It's Tacky

For those of you that don't know, that means it's ugly and ridiculous. You look as though you have lost your mind when you wear these pants in public places. That's the bottom line.

We all love to be as comfortable as possible at all times. This is possible without wearing your pajamas in public. No one out there wants to know what you wear to bed. They also don't want the image in their head that you rolled out of bed and were too lazy to put on clean clothes. It borders on rudeness. Do everyone a favor and put your clothes on.
