How to apply eye shadow to make you look tanned

Using the appropriate eyeshadow can make or break your look. With warm weather on its way, sun and fun fast approaching, many women go for a freshly tanned sun kissed glow. Whether your fresh from vacation or using a bronzer to achieve a tan look, eyeshadow can help you achieve a glowing tan look. It can also enhance your tan by making you look darker. The trick is using the right eyeshadow for the look you're going for.

So now you're standing at the department store looking for a shadow that will enhance your tan you allready have. It can be tricky to pick the perfect shadow. Utilize testers or major department stores tha help you find what you need. Explain to the cosmetics counter associate that you're looking for an eyeshadow to enhance your tan. They should be able to pick out shadows for you to try on, that way you can pick the one you like best.

Many women don't stay tan year round. Just in spring and summer, some women want the tan dark skinned look. So buying expensive department store cosmetics for a few months out of the year is out of the question. Go to a drug store, or your local shop and check out the cosmetic selection. Once again, many colors are out there that you could chose, but the tip is picking the right one for you. If you have a very dark tan and dark hair, go for a deep brown shadow. This will make your skin and eyes look darker. Pick out a more neutral brown to highlight your eyes. Or if you really want to glow, pick out a gold color to highlight your eyes. Gold colors will make your eyes stand out more, and give you a sparkling glow. For women with a medium or light tan, stick with a medium or light brown shade. You can also utilize a gold color to bring out your tan. Also, don't be afraid to use a dark green or purple color on your eyes. Stick with the darker shades, they will make your skin look more tanned. Lighter colors draw away from your tan and often make you look lighter skinned.

Another way to achieve a dark tanned look by using a shadow is to use a facial bronzer. Many women go light on makeup in the spring and summer. Swipe a slightly darker bronzer over your eyes. You can add a slight shimmery gold shadow also to achieve a natural, sun kissed bronze glow easily.

Enjoy the spring and summer and your tan. Finding a perfect shadow for your skin isn't that hard, just experiment. Have fun with it, and try new things. You can't go wrong by picking earth tones to enhance your allready natural tan. Step it up and add a little gold shadow for a shimmer. You're skin will be glowing in no time!
