"Please don't hit me.

It was an accident.

I will clean it up.

I promise. I promise I...

Please stop.

The teachers were asking about my bruises again.

How long can I lie?

Why do you always hit me after you've been drinking?

Why do you never say you love me?

Why? Why? Why?"

Now.

"Please can I help dad?

It was my accident.

I will pick it up.

I promise. I promise. I..

Please stop!

The teachers were complimenting me about my grades again!

I love you to dad.

Why do you tell me you love me three times a day?

You are always saying it!

Why? Why? Why?"

(I broke the chain.)
