Do you have the desire or need to print documents often? Do you have an appetite for learning how to streamline your printing process and achieve the best results? By reading this article, you will acquire useful printing tips and tutorials.
I would like to commence by asking you a good question. Where do you spend most of your time using a computer? Is it at home or at a public computer center? If you decide to print any documents at a public library or computer laboratory, you need to know where your documents will print. For example, if there is more than one printer at your location, you would benefit a great deal by finding out what printer your document will be sent to before you commence the printing process.
There are at least three different methods you can use to accomplish this. The first method is to see if there is a sticker on your computer that specifies which printer your document will be sent to. The second method is to take a look at the description telling you your designated printer after you click "File < Print" or hold down one of the "Ctrl" (control) keys and hit the "P" key. The third method is to ask the computer lab assistant or nearby librarian for assistance.
Is it correct you often print out gigantic documents and hate to carry around large, heavy documents? I have been in your shoes. I used to print out bulky documents that only had text on one side of each page at my local university before the university started offering duplex printers. Duplex printers are printers which give you the option to print your text on both sides of a piece of paper. To use the duplex option, choose "File < Print", choose a duplex printer on the drop-down menu next to the Printer Name field, check the "Collate" option and click "Okay" or hit the "Enter" key.
If you need to print out one of your documents in color often, it would be a splendid idea to invest in a quality color printer. If you must use a public color printer, save your document onto a CD or flash drive stick and hand it to the computer center consultant to have your document printed.
Make sure you print your documents in a way that will come out properly. Before you print your document, go to your page layout menu and set the top, bottom, left and right page margins to at least an inch.
Let's discuss how to print what you want from an Internet page. To avoid printing out the graphics and ads instead of your content, copy and paste your content from the Internet page into Microsoft Word and print your material.
Do you ever need to print out envelopes or labels? If so, open the mailings menu and complete the process before inserting envelopes or labels into your printer.
Follow these steps to have an easier time printing!
